Unhappy electrical nightmare continues

so I have done a stator mod and was still having stator failures so I tried a CNC plate from gcextreme and put in a new stator and rode 400 miles, then suddenly the voltage dropped and continued to drop, I barely made it home. so I tested everything today and everything was fine the stator puts out 28 volts at idle and have .9 ohms on all the wires and no shorts to ground. the voltage rises slightly when you plug it in but not much, here's the weird part, when I plug in the stator to the rectifier, there is a loud noise coming from the stator area, when I unplug it, it comes back immediately, I verified this several times, it sounds a bit like the coffee grinder but not from the clutch

Stator sounds like it's grounding somewhere else other than the stator itself, since you tested on the stator side of the wiring. intermittent grounding can happen under high heat when something becomes soft. Likely though you are seeing higher resistance when everything is hot due to a bad connection.
