Can i do away with factory harness and just run the most haves

wiring harness on my 86 vn750 is pretty much shot and ive looked everywhere on here and the only thing i found was the ciols mod and im getting rid of the turn signals so those are covered but what do i do about the rest of it please help

You need to take this up with slimvulcanrider, who posted about a bare-bones harness some years back. The pictures he posted have evidently been deleted from their server, but he might still have a copy somewhere that he can post again.

by bare bones what do you want to run? wiring a bike is not difficult. can be expensive if you start from scratch
