Headlight Bucket

I noticed that there is a slight space between the edge of my headlight lens and the headlight bucket. Enough space for dirt and rain to get through.. Is this normal, or is it possible that something is missing inside of the rim?

There should be a gap there...this is for adjustment allowance. See if the space is the same all the way around. This is why it is a good idea to clean the connections in there now and then. I wrapped all mine with saran wrap. There should be a hole at the bottom of the bucket or bezel to let water drain.
