Battery Draining

I purchased a New Battery from Auto Zone and Fully Charged it up to 12.7 Volts. Afer runnig the bike , 20-30 minutes. I turned the Bike of and it would not start . After 15 Minutes , It hesitatly started , drove it home and measured the voltage and it was 11.44 Volts and 11.46 .This has happened , ( 2 twice ) to me in the same amount of days. I am afraid to drive it out to far for fear of being stranded ..

Any Suggestions

Have the battery load tested. Even brand new batteries can be no good from the start.
Also, is it a maintenance free battery?
Have you done anything to test the stator or R/R?
Did you have problems like this before you got the new battery?
