R/R relocation bracket

Hi All,
I'm going to make a bracket out of thick sheet metal, similar to the one Bulldog makes. Does this fit between the foot peg and frame, and if so, how does this affect the way the foot peg fits on the frame?

Thanks,
Rick

That's the way I mounted my bracket. I used a piece of approximately 0.09" thick stock I had hanging around. The footpeg is not affected to much by the thickness.

Suggestion to rubber mount it. It's previous location was attached to the bottom of a heavy object (battery) and the new location most of us use my introduce more vibes that before. I just used some thick rubber washers, worked great.

so the case itself is not required to be attached directly to the metal frame ?

Thanks
