Mysteriously just dead

Went to start the bike last night and turned the key and it was 100% dead. The oil light in the head didn't even come on, no lights, etc. Battery tested good and I confirmed 12.5v at the main 30amp fuse. All fuses good. So I started diagnosing it but while doing that I moved the shifter back and forth a bit as well. Then I turned the key and all the lights came on fine! Hit the started and it started very strong and I sent for an hour long ride. Anyone see that before? I don't think there is any safety switch that would cause all the lights to not come on is there?

could also be loose connection on wire to the battery. this has happened to my at least 2 times this summer. I got tired of having to take the seat off and tighten the battery wires on the battery, so the last time I did it I but a lock washer on the damn thing. lol

if it goes vroom or boom, I LIKE IT!
