Ground Issue??

When im riding the lights seem a little dull and the tachometer jumps around on slow down ect, if I engine break its even worse. When i hit a bump in the road the bike sometimes brightens up the lights ect get way brighter then go back to duller. I hear a spark noise on startup. This started today and I had to drive 45 minutes like this now its parked. 1 hour from home. I am assuming this is either a grounding issue... if so where do i start. I rebuild the petcock recently so possible something there? Any ideas would be awesome everyone!!

Check the battery connections, as well as the main ground on the frame...there isalso another main ground on the engine block under the bat box. these would be my first suspects. as to your sparking sound...where does it sound like it is coming from?

The battery connections were both loose. The guy who owned it before me didnt know how to tighten a bolt in my opinion. This has not been the first thing I had to tighten thanks for the help mate!
