Bike shorting out. Limited it to one grouping of wires.

I limited down where my electrical short is (at least the grouping of wires). It is coming from the grouping that leads into the dash from underneath. If I Pull on it the bike will stall. I am not seeing any grooves in the sleeve holding the grouping of wires together though. I want to just replace the entire grouping. I believe it plugs in behind the fan and the radiator, and up through the headlight housing, and then leads into the dash.

Does anyone know where I would be able to find this grouping of wires? I was unable to find it in the manual.

There is a wiring diagram in the manual. Mine was actually doing the same thing. But it was under the tank. Somehow it was arching out and killing batteries.

Thanks guys!

I am still not able to find the exact group in the manual.

I cut open the sleeve that holds the wires, and found no bare wires. It seems to be doing it because it is pulling too hard when turning to the right.

If I were to just extend the wires would there be any issues you can think of? Or would I have to use a certain kind? I was just going to use some copper speaker wire I have laying around and extend them.
