red rear blinkers

i was wondering if anyone is running rear red blinkers on there bikes? i just installed some bullet blinkers & large bags (i will post pics soon). the blinkers came with clear, amber & red lenses. i think the red lenses look the best they match up with the tail light & reflector. i was wondering if i should have any safety concerns, i have seen some of the newer cars have red lenses. thanks

Some states though do require amber turning lenses, while others allow red. Be sure to check your local laws (and those of any states you might go through).

STOCK rear turn signals on the Vulcan are AMBER. Anyone with red ones , it was something added after the sale as they say...

And as mentioned before...the stock rear turn signals do not light up like the front ones do as "running lights", only the front ones do.

Many folks have installed a set of the 3 wire front signal lights in the rear and changed the color to red. The front uses a diffrent bulb than the rear too, obviously.
