I used one on my Ranchero that I purchased from Harbor Freight. Problem was that it did not ever sense the state of charge and stop charging. It boiled that acid plate battery dry. I finally put it on the shelf with my other not so good investment tools from HF. Usually though I have good luck with most of what I purchase there. Check the manual on yours to see if it maintains the charge or charges constantly. They are a great idea for free energy to use as a trickle charger.

i am suprised to hear that. I use mine because i have no electricity supply close and i had to run out an extension lead ,been using the solar panel for about 2-3 month with no problems it is usually left for a week at a time and then i use the bike weekends
