Rear works, front don't

My rear brake light works, but the front brake switch doesn't. I can hear it clicking but not turning on the brake light. Can this be just an adjustment? My brake grabs about a 1/4 inch in so I might not be pulling the lever back far enough to make the switch fully work.

Grace and Peace to you!

Is the bike running when you do this? I thought my front brake switch was busted when trying all the lights and switches, but it turned out the front brake only lights up when mine is running.

no adjustment check your connections on the bottom of the master cylinder if they are good unplug them and jump them across to each other if that makes the brake light up then your switch is bad or the little plunger on it is sticky
