Headlight Bulb: Night Breaker? Or Silverstar

Hey Guys,
Now that my bike is running great (new plugs, wires, ground wire, LOTS of seafoam in my first tank) I'm thinking of some simple upgrades. I bought some grips, looking at mirrors and now I'm thinking of some headlight bulbs.

I've been looking at these two:
$22.55 - 2 Pack Osram Silverstar 2.0
$27.70 - 2 Pack Osram Night Breaker

Has anyone tried any Night Breakers in their ride? Osram is the parent company of Sylvania from across the pond, so the Osram Silverstar 2.0 are basically the Silverstar Ultra's from Sylvania that a lot of people seem to like on here, I don't think there is a Sylvania equivalent of the Night Breaker. The Silverstar 2.0 have a 450hr Tc lifespan failure rate, whereas the Night Breakers are only 300 hours, but a lot more output (110% vs 60%). (the Tc lifespan is the failure point for ~64% of the bulbs)

Do people feel the Silverstars are good enough for night riding? Or given the choice, would they go for a more powerful bulb with less longevity (Night Breaker). I don't do a LOT of night riding, but the increased visibility is never a bad thing even in the day.

I don't want to go with HIDs only because I have the stock housing and haven't see any posts about where to get the crystal cut lens.
Thanks all!

sounds like a knockoff of the original Sylvania silverstar bulb which I recommend highly. Try the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra...even better

They can't be knockoffs, Sylvania is the child company of Osram for the USA market. Sylvania is really 'Osram Sylvania'

The Osram Silverstar 2.0 bulbs are a newer design of the Silverstar bulbs with higher output than the Silverstar Ultra's (10%) with a better lifespan. I used them in my Eclipse and they were great, but do you feel they are enough? Or if you had the choice, would you go with a bulb with even higher output with less life? There isn't an Equivalent of the Night Breaker made by Sylvania. Have to order from Europe!

I didn't research the name, but I'll take your word for it!!
I would stick with the Silverstar only because I know from experience and word from others on here that they are highly recommended.

I will be looking for one myself soon.

I used the Silverstar and liked it, put it on all my 750's.

Thanks guys, I might do that. In case you guys were looking, you can get a 2 pack from here for ~$22 with free shipping. They take a little to get here since they're from the UK, but I haven't seen them for a better price:

I was thinking of an HID kit (there's one for ~$25 on ebay) but I have the stock housing so I don't want to blind anyone or get in trouble with the law.
