"Brand new" amg battery wont hold voltage

So i bought this amg battery from advanced auto, its the magna power one or something like that, anyway i bought it put it in my bike and crankcrank chrankkk chrankkkkkk. You get the picture. Volt meter says 4.5v, change it to 11.4v. Idk what it was before i tryed the first time. Do i have a bad battery, cause it says on the box ready to go? Or is something drawing to much current or what? I thought amg batteries are invincible
Thanks
-Holiday

advance auto has from time to time sold bad batteries if it brand new take it back they will give you a new one some time batteries are bad from the factory due to human error or it could have sat on the shelf at the store for to long

Garage
For AGM, it should settle at 12.9 - 13v after it's disconnected from the charger for 20-30 min.
