Rear turning signals to running lights

I found in a catalog from Competition Accessories a device that turns your rear turn signals into running lights and flashing stoplights - $59.99. It is called "Sound Off Safety Priority Plus". Has anyone orderednd installed such a device and if so, does it really work.

Sounds like a good idea. I was curious how the kit turns amber lights red

Quote:
No dying or replacement of the lens is required either with our kit. Federal regulations require the average motorcycle to have rear amber turn signals and this kit keeps you in compliance and safer. Our setup uses Ultra-Bright LED's to achieve the red color through the amber lens. Small separate circuits take brake and running light inputs and for each signal sending all information through 2 wires to each LED board. Add additional lighting without adding additional light housings! Please note this kit was designed to add additional lighting after dusk when it is needed most.
Maybe something to add for next year when I relocate the turn signals for new saddle bags.
