Hey just got into trying to figure out my charging system but after pulling my 6pin connector from the rec box I noticed one of the terminals was fried. Does this mean it is fried and the biggest problem with the charging system?

I can charge the battery and the bike runs for a few days and one day ride it for 5 minutes and it kills the battery.

Did you use a volt meter to check if it's fried? Check out the three yellow wires that come from the alternator. Sometimes they get loose and they might look connected. Link shows which wires and the mid connections that can make it look like they are connected even though they may not be.

After you put in the new r&r check voltage at battery with bike running.should be like 13.4 or 13.8 if I remember correctly.
