new R/R

Hi,

Can someone point me to a store where to buy a new R/R (and that ships outside the US)? I like the idea to install a second R/R on my bike. The first one on its originale location and the second one on a bracket near the rear tire. I've searched for a new one, but don't know if they fit on my VN750 from 1984.

Outside the US, there were '85 750's, but I don't think there were ever '84's

As long as a R/R is for any year Vulcan 750 (or 700), it will be the same as yours, whatever year it is (as long as it's a Vulcan 750)

Not sure if Bike Bandit or Ron Ayers ship outside the US, but those are the more popular ones in this forum. Have you tried them?

This may help clear up the confusion on the '84 700/750 , Here in the states any bike or car made after Aug. of any given year is called after the following year. Example, mine was made in Aug. 1984 and is a vn700. It can be called an 84 1/2 or an 85. Most of the time it's just called an 85 and left at that even though it was made in 84. Over seas they don't do that, it's an 84 till it is made in Jan. or later of that year.

My official paperwork says also that it's a VN750 from 1984. So I can order any R/R when it's for a VN750? I have seen them for specific years.
