weird...

Strange thing happened to me, went to take out the bike the other day and didn't get a 1/2 mile, she started spitting and sputtering then died. Got her started again got home turned her off. Filled up with gas This is where it was weird turned key and had NO power to anything, battery was full charge, all connections were tight. Went out yesterday and turned the key and I Have power & she started right up

start with the basics on this.

verify all connections at battery are good.
verify all grounds are good
check the contacts in ignition switch (sounds like this is most likely)

next time it acts up electrically, try wiggling the switch or turning it just past the run position to see if anything changes

Yep sounds like a loose ground wire, or maybe a dirty/faulty ignition switch ..

When I first got my bike I had some similar gremlins, there are step by step instructions along with some really good pictures on cleaning the ignition switch, make sure to check the bullet connectors, I had a bad one. That fixed all of my problems, if you do a search you should be able to find the thread. Good luck.

I'm thinking ignition switch or a petcock that is barely opening.
