I got just shy of 37,000 before mine went out.
But I went with a Rick's replacement.
Not too sure of Electrex. I believe, a couple years ago, there were some people having issues with the Electrex ones. Don't know if they addressed the problem and redesigned or got better materials or what.
Someone here, I would think, has run an Electrex for awhile now....

Oh boy... so ya mean august of next year my stator should go... that sounds fun! Hoping I'll be at 55K when mine goes (at which time I'll be done with school...)

Then again... I SHOULD have a very well paying intern ship this time next year (We'll see after next friday) and I bet some of that money goes to a bigger vulcan (though I'm gunna claim I'll wait till done with school to park the vulcan)...

1284 miles to half the miles being mine... (24 k when half are mine...)

regulator was relocated, fuses added, before the bike had even 600 miles on it. i think that helped a lot but i still feel that i only got about half the life i should have gotten from it.
