New ignition and gas cap

One of the things wrong with my new(to me) bike, the keys are snapped off in the gas tank and the ignition. I've done some searching, but off the top of anyone's head, is there a universal replacement I can wire in? What about gas caps?
I'm still searching but any info you could throw my way is appreciated.

I think your best bet may be to check with one of the guys parting out a bike and see if you can maybe get a matching gas cap and ignition from them. I'm sure there are some universal type replacements, but it may be more difficult to try to make that work than just replacing with something stock.

Fair enough. I'll haunt the for sale section. Thanks.

Watch Ebay too, I saw some reasonably priced with keys in the past month or so, not so many today though.

Some of the deals I've found there are unreal. Got a Vulcan logo'd bike cover for a dollar, and just got a set of chrome Kuryakyn wide blade control levers, new in the package, for $2.99.

if you are good you can get the broken keys out the ignition switch will be easier because you can remove the whole switch and work on it that way

the gas cap can be removed by knocking out the hinge pin and prying up on the hinge side
once the cap is off you can open it up and push the key out with a pick tool
