Haven't seen anyone reply here.

Perhaps if you give a detailed discription of the problem we can try and help via this forum.

Most starting problems I've seen where electrical. Lot of old timers will say "most carburetor problems are electrical" Ignition = air + gas + spark + timing + compression. We can probably assume it's gas or spark.

I assume it cranks. Is it cranking fast enough? If questionable, load test the battery. Good strong spark and proper color?

Check carburetor float levels with some clear tubing to see if either bowl is flooding or not getting enough gas. Draining the bowls and measuring is another way to check, but more prone to errors.

It's hard to help until we hear more.

Starting Problems

What condition I your battery in? You won't belive the difference the proper battry will make. Also the NKG plugs help. Run sea foam in your gas once in a while,

If your battery is questionable, disconnect it and try hooking up booster cables from a car battery directly to the mc cables.

Really not sure what is up with this thread or the others started by "skinem". This member seems to start threads and when asked for more information drops away only to start a different thread. Possibly having some other problems taking up his/her time. I know a few responders have asked for some additional information and nothing was posted.

and always remember, "Ride until you rot!"

but having to face the fact that this is a lifetime routine
going forward. Five operations done and it still continues.
