Whenever you want to find out if a part from a VN750 is used on other kawasaki products you go to http://www.ronayers.com/
Look up the part on the on-line microfuche, click on the part number so it comes up with the full part number and price, the paste the part number into the box on the left that says
Where does this part fit?

It then brings up a whole list like this...
Partnumber 59416-1052 , CASE-ELECTRIC,FUSE &, fits 24 models:

There was a previous thread on the forums just recently where it was mentioned that the Ninja 600 Junction box also fit the VN750 too.

Corrosion is usually the main culprit in a junction box being faulty. If the bike had/has a wet cell battery. a battery acid overspill could have seeped in and corroded the relays/diodes inside.
Other times people have noticed a hot spot on the back of the junction box where the back is warped or bubbled from extreme heat (usually caused by a short inside from corrosion.)
