03 Vn750 Handle Bar Wires

In transporting my dads bike to my house the wires ripped out of the right handle. This would be for the on/off and start switch. I stripped back the sheiding and opened up the throttle housing/started switch and I'm not sure what wires go where.

In the sheilding there are 3 wires RED, RED/BLK, YEL/RED. Theres also two black wires with terminals that would just plug into the terminals on the housing.

Inside the throttle housing I see YEL/RED and RED by the on/off switch, and RED and an empty soilder joint by the push start button.

Anyone know what wire goes where?

Offhand (and being at work), I can tell you that the two black wires that go into the housing are kinda specific - If you strip the coating, I believe the blue wire goes to the rider side (towards you if you're sitting on the bike), the brown to the fore side of the bike (away from you, seated). If it's still in the housing/coating this, then the L-bend in the coating should be facing UP (inverted L).
