Never enough LED's

I just won these on eBay to mount to my saddle bag rails to save watts. I'll post picts when done. They have a buy it now price of $39 with the chrome trim so it's a good deal for the price (if you don't mind looking like a boat trailer!).

My search words were LED, stop, tail, turn. Some great looking stuff out there including 1157 boards using zero clearance LED's.

Happy Mod-ing

I'm actually working on a set for my bags to. I bought the led hitch light from harbor freight when they where on sale. Cut off the hitch post seal the back & voila. $12 brake lights! (That's for both)

A work in Progress. I'm putting together an outer ring for signals.

great idea

I shop at harbor freight too. Here's an idea I've been thinking about, using these as saddle bags:

Dude... go with ammo cans. Probably cheaper - definitely tougher - when painted look OK (I.E. some think ugly as hell some think cool).

There's a thread somewhere (started by me) with pics of my ammo can saddlebags - I can fit a crapload of stuff and they're tough.

Never enought LEDs, eh???

Well, for the most part, I couldn't agree more......

With that said, I was curious if anyone out there has installed the following (or something else similiar) on their VN750:

http://www.swintledlights.com/swintledlights.html

If so, how did it turn out, and would you post pix?......

Yeah! I'm working on that to. I had a bunch of leds given to me. Awsome concidering radio shack is rediculosely priced and online you don't always know what your getting quality wise. It's just a matter of soldering everything together. I'm using red. Wire 6 together & you don't need any resistors. It's a winter project. I'm not done riding yet!
