Exclamation Wont start, but...

I pulled all the spark plugs to see what condition they were in and they looked, smelled, and felt perfect. I put the plugs back in and plugged the wires back on and it fired right up... Except that I forgot to reconnect the rear right plug wire and it fired right up... I tried grabbing the wire by the plug boot and got a good ol shock.
I turned the bike off and reconnected the wire and then it wouldn't fire up, unplugged it again and it fired up...

I know I should be putting 2+2 together but I'm getting 5. The only thing I could think of is that maybe its shorting out or something.

Yes, it'll turn over until the battery dies.
If I unplug the rear right spark plug wire it fires up every time.

Try a different spark plug to see if the plug is grounding.

I also noticed that when the bike tries to turn over the battery starts making a boiling sizzling sound. I don't remember this happening to my Sportster. could this also have something to do with it? bad voltage regulator maybe?

The battery is charging now, I'll try it in a little bit.
Would the wire grounding out cause the battery to 'boil'?

So I had it on the trickle charger for about 3 hours, the battery is sitting at 11.5V and the starter relay just keeps'll klicking without turning the bike over.
