Well - I do have electrical problems.. battery charger maybe?? Can't keep up the voltage even with new battery... must charge every 5-800 km

So - just for translation - what's an Reg/Rec (I'm danish)
Wolfjan, tried to reply by PM but you have PM turned off so here you go...

The Regulator/Rectifier is an electrical component that takes the AC electricity from the generator and either converts it to DC (to power lights, coils, battery, etc) or converts excess electricity to heat to get rid of it. It is found underneath your seat bolted to the underside of the battery box.

If you read through this electrical section of the forum you will find many threads discussing problems with the reg/rec.
There are also links to external sites in the Vulcan Verses section.
If you look through the gallery you can find pictures of the R/R so you know what you are looking for.

I would say that if you have electrical issues that don't have an obvious cause (ie you have checked the fuses), get a voltmeter and start testing the R/R.

Good luck.

Scot

PS @ Mods
Perhaps it would be good to create a sticky on testing and replacing the R/R?
