The tiny "o" rings for the outer cover I get from the hardware store for $0.12 each...I bet all ya really need are the cut gaskets....

If you're pulling the engine to do the replacement, might be worth doing your balance dampers at the same time. Worth the $40 or so for the insurance of not having them go out on you later and either having to pull the engine, or have major damage to the engine.

......I'd rather wake up in the middle of nowhere then in any city on earth.

How many miles do they last? Do i need to split the cases to do so?

No you don't have to split the case they are right behind the large stator cover

The balancers have been known to fail unexpectedly... at various mileage. some have failed with around 2000 miles, while others lasted 20,000 miles. we recommend changing them out when doing a stator for a piece of mind. 30 bucks in parts no, or several hundred bucks for a new engine later

Might as well do it then, maybe ill do the stator mod plate since the cover has to come off
