where to get new r/r

My 2005 vn with 2600 miles looks like it has a bad rr. battery has died twice now. took the rr off and tested, readings are bad . tested the stator (cold) and it looks good, still need to test it with the bike hot. I did have the rr relocated and have an mf battery.Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions of where to get a new rr. Thanks Steve.

where to get r/r

I got mine from DennisKirk.com :http://denniskirk.com/jsp/common/Frontpage.jsp

You can get them also from the maker, "Rick's Motorsport Electrics" :http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/

There probably are other places, no doubt others on here will chime in.

I got mine from bikebandit.com.

The aftermarket and the OEM

I got the aftermarket and have had good luck with mine so far. The shipping is pretty fast, I think I ordered mine on a Wednesday night and it showed up on Saturday and that was with the standard shipping.

Good luck.

I smile 'cause I don't know what the h*ll is going on.
