Cool Starting the stator replacement

Well I got the engine out of Roxie and started to clean and paint it. The engine came out pretty easy. The bottom and around the clutch thing on the left rear was filthy. According to UPS the stator will be here tomorrow. Wish me luck

I cleaned up the engine and put the first coat of black paint, but left the chrome not painted.

Well, atleast ya got something to keep ya busy while you're waiting.

Are you planning on painting any other parts of the bike black?
I'm thinking about getting the rear rack, grabrails/sissybar, headlight housing, clutch and stator cover (just the round part that had the writing on it) powder coated satin black then spray painting the speedo, tach and probably the turnsignals and tail light housing.

Can ya tell I'm not too into chrome?!

I got my Vance & Hines Cruzers Exhaust Systems today. I'm still waiting on the gaskets. I can't wait to hear them.
