is mosfet r/r required after tp stator?

I'm going to get a tp stator do i have to replace the regulator with a mosfet? i plan on doing this anyway but will be a while. i already have a new regulator so i didn't want to buy another one yet. thanks for any info. .

No you don't have to do a mofset R/R when you do a TPE stator, or any other brand of stator.

No, a mosfet R/R is not required....It does compliment the charging / electrical system, as does a AGM Battery.

depends on how many watts the new light bar uses... Stock R/R is rated at under 20 amps which is 240 Watts, our bike uses almost all of it in the stock form. Even though you are going with a TPE stator, you will only get 20 Amps out of the charging system because the Voltage Regulator regulates it to 20 amps. the only way to get more power out of your charging system is to add a larger R/R. when you do upgarde to a MOFSET R/R, look into the fallowing models to scource one from.
