Rotor Good????

I'm changing the stator on my 750. Is it necessary to also replace the rotor? How do you know if the rotor is good? Is there anyway to check the north and south pole polarity on the rotor, or is this not necessary? Please let me know before I put this thing back together. Thanks

replace the rotor only if there are severe grooves in it

I think I read somewhere that a rotor can loose it's magnetic pull if you hit it hard enough. So if it had lost it's magnetic pull I would change it out.

Relocate R/R to side cover
Re-did the engine
from the case up.(And it runs)
