stator ground?

Relocating my r&r... do I need to run a ground to frame when I do this?

If you are just relocating the stock R/R you don't have to wire anything. Just create a bracket to hold it and plug the original harness back in.

Deviate is correct.

I think it might even get a ground from the mounting bolts, but not sure if they are necessary to operate properly.

If you have the MOSFET R/R.....I am unsure if that is the same., but I suspect it will work also without the case ground.

I ran a ground from the mounting bolt of my aluminum backing plate for my Mosfet to the battery ground. I picked up .3 more volts. Just saying.
