Still little fire

I have done the coil/relay mod but there is still little fire on the back coil. I know the ground is important so do you think the ground could give it cause to little fire. Where is the ground connected from the coil. I am thinking of making extension cables from the rear coil wires and connect them to the front coil to see if the fire stays the same or is it my coil that is actually bad.

Any suggestions

Grace and Peace to you!

Why not swap the rear coil to the front and see if the problem moves with it?

If it does, replace the coil. If it doesn't, check out the two wires on the rear coil. Make sure the coil is getting good power, at or very near battery voltage.

While you're swapping, make sure the mounting points are clean and making a good ground.
