modding to have pulsating brake lights

Hi,
I have a 1992 VN750 and want to make the brake lights pulsate automatically when I apply the brakes (either front, or rear).

Can someone point me to a kit, or a light set on eBay or amazon or similar to get me started?

Has anyone done this with the same ride? I want to know the level of difficulty in doing this myself...

Thanks!

First, welcome to the forum. I thought that this had been discussed here before but in my quick search i didn't see it. I did a google search for brake light modulators and came up with this as an example: http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/ba..._content=11952

Basically you would splice that inline with your brake light wires and it would flash one of two user select-able patterns.

Thanks!

Thanks Deviate!
I too searched, and though I may have not worded my needs correctly in the search, I too was surprised to find there were no other threads for this idea.

I will check out that modulator, thanks for the link!!

too bad they make those things so darn cheap.

I can do anything with pic micro controllers, just need ideas that will sell.

How about you riders that forget to turn your blinker off, how about a buzzer that tells you that it has been on for more then xx # of blinks?

Just put a "Time" Delay (in seconds) in the activated circuit, rather than X # of blinks.
