rear coil not good

Is there a way to test the coil. My front coil through the plug is very good, the rear is only about the size of a hair and very light in fire. I am going to try and clean the coil connectors to see if there is a problem, but other than that I don't know how to test it.

Grace!

Swap the two coils around, could be weak voltage to the coil

The VN750 manual covers this, section 15-20 through about 15-23, replete with troubleshooting tree.
