Unhappy spark plug wire arc

Hope someone can help!!!

My VN750 left front spark plug wire is arcing through the boot where the wire screws on to the plastic extension that goes into the head.
I changed the plugs I thought I had a bad plug, this did not correct the problem. I also unscrewed the wire from the spark plug extension and cleaned that still have the problem please help

Usually it's the right side front plug that develops an arcing problem. The wire would arc against one of the fins on the engine. This is usually solved by simply rerouting the wire.
With the left front plug though I'd check the boot for cracks and check the insulation on the wire. You could try wrapping the boot and the wire leading into the boot with some electrical tape and see if it eliminates the arc. If it does, replace the wire and boot
