Lost all elec.power

Went out for a ride today. Rode about 35 miles stopped for a drink tried to start and battery was dead. pushed , jumped started and ran fine. while heading home bike died completely no power at all. all wires from battery tight. put jump box on and it started fine. but when I took the neg. jump cable off from the batterry it died. HELP

The connection to the battery may be corroded. Even if tight, corrosion can still be a problem.
What type and how old is the battery?
My first guess is a new battery should fix the problem.

Check the voltage with the bike running. Hope you get a good reading. With cars that is a sign of a dieing Alt, may be a R/R Or Stator. Hope for the best

I side with Hyper on this one... Check the battery, I'll bet it's dead!!

Good time to get that MF battery you've been looking at!! You have been looking... right??

Then check your voltage!
