no power to the solinoid??

so i go to start the bike today( a beautiful day to ride) and its a no go.
battery is up
everything is lit up as should be
but nothing when i hit the button?

i took the side cover off and jumped the solinoid and it cranks over
so i unplug the 2 wire plug to the solinoid and test it
ground shows continuity
the yellow w/red stripe shows 0.030v when button is pressed, key on

isnt that supposed to be higher???

i checked that wire to the bottom plug in juct. box and it shows continuity

any ideas??

i forgot i took the ends of my batt charger to the spades on the solinoid and it clicks when 12v is applied but nothing on the bike.
as the wire to the one spade is only getting 0.030v when i hit the start button

Make sure bike is still in neutral before checking continuity.

Hmm JB headlight mod.. I also think I messed up the troubleshooting chart...but you shouldn't have continuity to ground on pin 12.. it should be 12 volts hot. so, I am going out on a limb and saying you have a bad JB
