head lamp light

My head lamp indicator light comes on when I switch to low beam. Does this mean that it is burnt out? It goes out when I switch to high beam...but there doesn't seem to be much difference between the two of them.

What type of bulb do you guys recommend to replace the OEM one with?

Well i hope you arent noticing a difference between the low and the high. Reason for that is the reserve lighting unit will switch to the working beam when the other burns out. You are correct that the bulb needs replacing. PIAA is good, but i find not for the price they arent. I recomend the sylvania Xtravision, or if you want the extra white, then go with silver stars

Ya know, I bet your headlight would look just as good with any NEW bulb. Halogens dim over time.
