Thanks again. This forum is incredible. I checked the clutch kill switch, kick stand kill switch, and fuel/air mixture. I used dilectric grease in clutch kill switch, checked air filters, and replaced a vacuum line. Took her for a spin. Woo hoo! She ran beautifully. Wonder what i'll have to replace next.

Aaarrggh! So aggravating. After my last post and after checking the weather for tomorrow I decided to get her (my bike) ready for work tomorrow. Aggravatingly, the same problem again. Starts fine. Put her in 1st, throttled up and released clutch. She bogs down. If I didn't already shave my head I'd pull all my hair out

If it's going in gear and not dying, them you are most likely having carb issues. If the kickstand switch was still faulty, it would die as soon as you put it in gear if it was down. Or at least it's supposed to. The clutch switch will keep it from starting with it in gear unless you have bypassed it.
It sounds like it's starving for fuel. Try setting your choke about halfway, and see if it helps any.

Yes. The character on the old "Lost in Space" TV series. It's funny and very fitting but of course useless to those that never watched the show...
