ignition Switch replacement

First off, Thanks for the help on my previous post. Now......Has anyone ever used the ignition switch wire harness to install a replacement ignition switch? I can buy a universal key switch from a local auto parts store for $15. The lowest price i've found online is $75 for an OEM part. Having a family and responsibilities i'm trying to save a few bucks. Any advice on the proper wiring would be appreciated.

i assume three prongs on switch are Ignition, Battery, and Accessory? If so the fallowing should do it for you. This also assumes you have a stock wiring harness.

Yellow= Ignition
Red= Accessory
Orange/Green strip = Accessory
White = battery
Red/Blue Stripe= Acessory
white/black stripe=Battery
Brown/white Stripe=Acessory

So, did you loose a key or has your ignition quit working. If it's the lost key, I now know for a fact the key code for your ignition is stamped on it.
