If not OEM or Rick's stator, then what?

My stator appears to have headed south, just when I had the bike sold. I don't want to wait for a TPE stator. OEM is expesive, correct? Doesn't Elextrex make them? If so, are those any good?

I would just get it re-wound by Tim Parrot. Cheaper than new, and better than the aftermarket stators around.

If that is what you were thinking of, then they're all the same to me. You can buy a Ricks, Elctrosport, etc. They're made cheaply, but do work most/some of the time. I wouldn't put them in my bike for any length of time, but it depends how much you are wanting to take care of the new owner (since you're selling it).
