Hi everyone...noticed my high beam works great, but the low beam appears rather weak. charging system good, and it doesn't change intensity with rpm.thinking a poor ground, or maybe just a bulb on it's way out.....suggestions anyone...

The VN750 has a back-up lighting system if the low-beam fails. Is the Headlight block lit up? If so, then the back-up system is on to prevent total headlight failure. You need to replace the bulb.
I only understand what I don't understand.

The block on the instrument cluster is lit, but I thought that let's you see in the dark that the headlight was on, guess it's the backup system....thanks...... we will change out bulb tomorrow.....I also noticed that the high beam indicator seems lit faintly even on low beam...is this also a tell tale sign of backup activation??
Uncertain about the hi-beam light, but definitely on the WHITE Headlight block.
The headlight is on all the time, no need for the dash light to tell ya.

So that's why there's that light on the cluster. I feel stupid for not having known this already, but good info!
