trunk wiring

I'm looking at adding this trunk
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOTORCYCLE-C...b27832&vxp=mtr

I have a question on wiring. I assume each of the ground, brake and turn lights would just be quick spliced to those wires going to the back.
What about the running light?? Since we dont have a rear running light, what could this one be spliced to??

Thanks
Dave

Yes, we have a running light on the rear, Big RED brake light is also running light!! Can also tap into tag light , as that stays on all the time too! Real easy splice.

04-3,200 miles bought July 2011 with 928 miles. Loaded with acessories to many to list here, see my albums for more details! I also make a custom tank bib specific for the 750 if anyone is interested, ck my albums for some pics.

All the rear lights come up and into connectors under the seat, more toward the rear end, a simple light tester will make it easy to figure what wire does what, there is grounds there also, but again grounds are fairly simple. Do not know how many lights are on that trunk, so possibly could be different ways to light it up!

I didn't see where it specified the type of lights installed in the trunk.
Are they LED's or incandescent lamps?

Nice looking trunk by the way. I see it has a backrest built in. Are you planning to remove the glove box and sissy bar on the bike?

I am glad it has that mini spoiler, to help keep your rear wheel on the ground.
