Probably uses a pair of standard dual element 1157 bulbs.
Just take the 4 screws out of the red tail/brake light lens to get to the bulbs.
(Usually need a #2 Phillips screwdriver.)
Push the bulb in and twist a few degrees counterclockwise, then pull out.

Notice that the locking pins on the side of the brass base are different distances from the bottom.
Orient the base of the new bulb to match the locking slots in the socket, push in and twist CW to lock.
Jiggle to ensure proper fit and test that both tail and brake light bulbs function before replacing lens.

Check your connections under the seat. There is a white 3 pin socket: Black/yellow is ground
Blue is brake light
Red is running light and should be 12v with ignition on.
Blue wire should show 12V when you hit either brake (hand or foot switch activated)
Check your ground should have zero ohms to the frame.

I knew you had a problem when you first posted this. There are two bulbs and the chance of both of them not working is very slim. Be sure to check your fuses.

Take off the left side cover to expose the fuse box (usually called the junction box or JB here). There is a black plastic vertical strip about 3/4 or an inch wide that snaps off to expose the fuses. Just feel along the bottom edge of the strip for for a small lip and pull it out and up to get it off.
