Reassembly After Stator Replacement Question

I'm about to begin what looks like the very daunting task of putting everything back together after doing a Stator replacement. I just got the rebuilt stator back from Tim Parrot and it looks great. The cover has been Tuxedo modified so hopefully this is my last stator engine pull.

I'm wondering, since it seems that replacing the Pickup Coils also necessitates removing the side engine cover, should I be replacing them since I am in there? I never see that mentioned anywhere.

Also, does anyone know how I could get ahold of another rubber grommet for the stator wires???

You shouldn't neet to replace the pick-up coils. As for the grommet, your replacement stator should have had one on it. You might want to contact Tim on that.

Yeah, my replacement stator did come with one, but I sent him my old one. I am thinking about notching the inside cover like in the Tuxedo modification, and if I do that, I will need another grommet to put in the slot of the engine cover where the old one went.

So I'm trying to find out where I could get ahold of another grommet.....
