Right turn signal light

Question.

My right turn signal indicator light comes on then goes off occassionaly.
It may only stay on for about 3 seconds then shut off. (turn signal is in the middle position when this happens).

Example...

I pulled into the driveway today and was backing in my bike, looked down and the right signal light came on. I then turned my handle bars to the right and it shut off. Then turned it again and it came on and went right back off.

Tried left and right signals and hazards and they seem to be working just fine.

Then rocked the bike back and forth, left and right, gave it gas, brake, clutch, switched gears and the darn light never came on again.

This has happened a few times (maybe 3 or 4).

any thoughts??
