Left turn signal issue

I was just riding home from Chik fil a with my buds, about 9:45 pm. sitting at a light with my left turn signal on. I noticed after about 15 seconds, it started blinking really fast. looked back, rear wasnt working. So i thought i blew a bulb. (this is on my 2001 btw) i make the left, drive about 3 miles, get on an on ramp for a Highway, signal left to murge and it blinked normally, both bulbs working. what caused this? any one else ever have this issue?

just incase.. I would check the conections on your flasher too.. and maybe upgrade it to an electronic one instead of Thermal.

Dielectric grease will minimize corrosion once you get the contacts clean.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!
