With a blade holder I'd probably do better with a fine tooth hacksaw, and the cover off. You could crank them out on a bandsaw, polish them up, and ship'em out.

The blade I used on the coaster left jagged cuts, but I could sacrifice the material, just shaped it with a die grinder and carbide burr. You can't afford to cut very wide on the cover mod, can you?

My machinist may be changing jobs, going to lose access to the shop machines if he does. Couldn't get him this time around though, he was going to mill out the coasters for me.
