where do ya'll recommend buying a new R/R from ? Approx how much should I expect to pay ? Thanks.

whatever price you get it for always look for a Shindegen Brand R/R if you can get it ,the factory uses them and in all fairness, with the limited capacity of the 750 charging system,it does a good job and lasts fairly well as long as all the connections are good .I would stay away from Electrosports.Happy hunting!

I used the R/R from my Kawasaki Ninja/EX500. Part numbers matched and the wiring on the Vulcan's R/R looked really bad, so I changed it and it seems to work pretty well.

I bought a used one from a Kawi 600 Eliminator. Same part and works great. Search the threads for a list of compatible R/R from other Kawi bikes because you want to stick with OEM. The cheap ones are junk and will not last.
