Journey interruptus

i need to change my name to journey interruptus.
we have managed to trace electrical problem to the vicinity of the 6pin connector. we have over 12 volts coming out of ignition switch on yellow wire. none most of time atJ starter button. moved the wires around and got a connection. QUESTION is there an easy way to access the 6pin connector?
we have managed to fix most of problems and bike sounds like a dream when running.
any and all help appreciated.
